This is a written pattern for a little windspinner in the shape of a chick. Several pictures are added to show how it should look like.
You need to sew some parts together for this chick.

I call this a windspinner because of the shape of the body, but it’s actually too small to easily catch the wind. For that reason it will not spin as nicely as a bigger windspinner. It’s a perfect size for a nice (Easter) ornament though!

For this Chick you need about 18 meters/20 yards of yarn and a little bit of stuffing, only for the head. I used a 19 mm bead instead.

I used acrylic yarn: Stylecraft Special dk or similar, which is about 300 meter/328 yards per 100 gram, and hooksizes 3.0 and 2.0
My finished windspinner was about 7.5 cm/3 inches tall.

The level is intermediate.
