These Knit Crazy Chickens are inspired by Heike’s fabulous crocheted Crazy Chickens!

Heike has a really fun group called Hühnchen’s Adventures Group, where members love to pose their chickens doing all kind of crazy stuff! Given I don’t crochet but still wanted to join the fun, I was lucky enough to have Heike’s permission to make a knit version! I think what the world needs now is more crazy chickens!

The body is knit in the round on dpns and the wings are made by picking up stitches. I am especially pleased with my i-cord comb and legs which have bobbles sticking out each side. The comb is also stuffed into the head and cinched into place. Like most of my designs there are lots of photos to help!
