This DK weight pōtae comes in 2 sizes, Tamaiti Kuraina and pākeke. School kids and adults. It’s a stranded colourwork pōtae knit in the round, from the brim up and is charted only.

A pattern inspired by unity and taking on the world together, its about uplifting our people, it’s about recognising privilege and eating the rich.

Ko Tāua Tēnā is a free pattern, however, if you are in a position where you can usually afford to buy a pattern, donate those funds to a cause, drop a box of tampons into your local community pantry (menstruation is expensive yall), pay it forward to someone that really wouldn’t otherwise be able to afford a little luxury.
