This pattern is available from etsy.com for $8.50.

An original pattern of mine that everyone seems to love. It is knit from the back point of the triangle up, with increases at the edge to create a seamless shawl. A beautiful diamond based overall motif is framed by the knit in sawtooth edging. By varying the thickness of yarn and needle size, this pattern in two sizes can be extremely versatile. No gauge is given -- the idea is to choose a needle size appropriate to your yarn. Suggested yarn weights are lace to fingering. This is sure to be a treasured heirloom for yourself, or a lucky recipient.

The photos show a small (blue) done in fingering weight and #10 US needles, and a large (pale blue & lavender) done in lace weight and #10 1/2 US needles.

Yardage is approximately 315 yards for the small size, and 480 for the larger size. Suggested US needle sizes are 9-11.

This pattern is clearly written, with intermediate and advanced knitters in mind. This is definately not a beginner’s project!
