• DESCRIPTION:
Using the tall Treble stitch ensures this pattern will work up quickly. This stitch is often overlooked because it can cause space between the stitches. However, working 7 of them in one stitch helps prevent that. It also creates a beautiful fan-like appearance.

• GAUGE & SIZING:
Gauge (tension) isn’t very important in this project. For reference, my gauge is 2 shells and 4 rows per 4”.

Play around with hook sizes until you find one that makes a fabric you like. This pattern is written to produce a washcloth that is roughly 8 inches by 8 inches.

• ABBREVIATIONS & STITCHES USED:
ch = chain
st = stitch
sp = space
sk = skip
SC = Single Crochet
Tr = Treble (also called a triple)
1 shell = 7 Tr in the same st
* * = Repeat what is in asterisks the indicated number of times

• MATERIALS:
About 70 yards of Dishie by We Crochet in Kenai or any #4 cotton or cotton blend.
A 4.0 mm (F) hook
Tapestry needle for weaving in ends
Stitch markers if desired.
