Relax on a cool spring evening in the back garden with the Lattice Shawl. The air is heavy with the scent of climbing roses and you are working the gentle rhythm of garter stitch and lattice lace. This
pattern includes two sizes for you to create either a shawlette that is perfect for keeping your neck warm or a full size shawl that wraps you up in comfort. The Lattice Shawl uses worsted weight yarn and works up quickly on size US9 needles. A gentle steam block opens up the tiny squares of the lattice stitch and keeps the squish of the garter stitch.

Supplies Needed:
• Size 9 US Needles
• Size 1 - 420 yards of worsted weight yarn. (Sample shown uses
Malabrigo Rios in Old Rose & Sandbank color ways)
• Size 2 - 860 yards of worsted weight yarn. (Sample shown uses
Malabrigo Rios in Jupiter and Sandbank color ways)
• 1 Stitch Marker

Finished Dimensions:
Size 1: Approximately 52 inches wide and 18 inches from top to bottom tip.
Size 2: Approximately 70 inches wide and 26 inches from top to bottom tip.
Steam blocking is recommended to target the lattice sections by steaming vertically to open up the stitches and
steaming the garter sections horizontally to keep the squishiness intact. (See my video on YouTube for a
demonstration.
