It contains:

  • 17 pages
  • 40 high quality pictures and 3 scheme
  • step by step description
  • 4 video instructions

Basic crocheting skills will be needed to make this pattern.

Final size of the dragons with the indicated materials and tools will be ~ 5.5cm (2.2 inches) and 6.5cm (2.6 inches).

Materials and tools:
- Any yarn approx. 10 - 15gr of main color:
I used Iris PNK Kirova thread 100% cotton 25gr / 150mt for pink dragon.
I used Alpina XENIA yarn 100% cotton 50gr / 240mt for lilac dragon.
- Some of contrast color yarn for the antlers, claws, dragon spikes and eyelids.
You can use any cotton yarn that is not too thick.
The thickness of the yarn for all parts of the toy should be the same.
The thinner the yarn, the smaller the dragon will turn out.

  • Embroidery floss or sewing thread dark color for the mouth.
  • A strong thread for the sewing (for example, a reinforced thread).
  • Toy stuffing (hollow fiber or other synthetic fiber).
  • Toy eyes of a suitable size approx d. ~0.4cm for pink dragon and 0.5cm lilac dragon (I use the glass eyes with backs).
  • D. ~0.5mm floristic wire ~15cm length for pink dragon, d. ~0.75 mm floristic wire ~19cm length for lilac dragon.
  • ~1.0 cm wide adhesive tape (roll).
  • Size 1.0mm crochet hook for the pink dragon, size 1.5mm crochet hook for the lilac dragon. I recommend using a smaller hook, that it is pointed on the yarn. The work should be crocheted tight, so as there will be no gaps between the stitches.
  • Scissors (you can use the manicure scissors), nippers, pliers, conic awl.
  • A long needle for sewing, a tapestry needle.
  • A vanishing fabric marker (optionally).
  • Wooden sticks for stuffing, toothpicks.
  • Metallic acrylic paints - silver or pearl.
  • A black permanent marker.
  • Oil paints or soft pastel to tint the toy.
  • A diluent for the oil paints – not oily!
  • Oil paint titanium white (optionally)
  • Palette.
  • Superglue.
  • For wings I use thin viscose napkins for manicure. You can use wet wipes, after washing and drying them.
  • Glossy acrylic varnish.
