Lineout Pullover
To celebrate the launch, enjoy 20% off for the first week using code LINEOUTPULLI.
Meet the Lineout Pullover: a modern knit with clean lines, bold structure, and just enough texture to keep things interesting without stealing the spotlight. The pattern plays with simple line details that create visual movement, making it feel polished, intentional, and endlessly wearable. It’s the kind of sweater that looks just as good thrown over jeans as it does styled up for a crisp day out. Knitting it is deeply satisfying—engaging enough to stay fun, but intuitive enough to relax into and actually enjoy the process. If you’re craving a project that feels contemporary, confidence-boosting, and destined to become a wardrobe staple, this is the one to cast on. ✨
The pullover has a European shoulder, top down construction, featuring a split hem. It has a positive ease of 8-10” / 20-25 cm. The pattern starts by working the back flat. The fronts are picked up from the cast-on edge of the back piece, later on joined with the back and worked till the ribbing is reached. When the ribbing is reached, the work is split into front and back where the ribbing is worked flat. The back ribbing is longer than the front. The plackets are worked once the body is finished and an icord is worked around the neck and part of the plackets. From the icord, stitches are picked up to work the collar. Lastly stitches are picked up around the armholes and worked to the desired length, finishing with ribbing. One strand of yarn is held throughout the whole pattern and you may choose whether you would like to carry the yarn along or cut it in between stripes.
Gauge: 18 sts x 27 rounds = 4 x 4” / 10 x 10 cm in stockinette in the round after blocking using the body needles.
Always use needles that get you the required gauge.
Needles: US 7 / 4.5 mm for the body of the sweater and the sleeves 80/100 cm circular needles
US 6 / 4.0 mm for the ribbings 80 cm circular needles for the magic loop method for the sleeves
