This simple lace hat is a quick, fun knit that will allow you to use that gorgeous skein of yarn you’ve been saving! It looks great knit up in a speckly, tonal or variegated color so there are a lot of options! It’s excellent for a newbie lace knitter but it’s definitely not boring for an experienced lace knitter. The best part is that you can use a skein of DK weight yarn OR fingering weight yarn held double.

This pattern is charted AND contains written instructions.

Yarn: 1 skein of BrittyRaeKnits Lovely DK yarn OR BrittyRaeKnits Like a Cloud yarn held double. You may substitute any DK weight yarn or fingering weight yarn held double.
Needles: US 3 16” circular or 40” for magic loop; US 5 16” circular or 40” for magic loop. If not using magic loop, you’ll need a set of size 5 double-pointed needles as well
Notions: Stitch markers, tapestry needle for weaving in ends

Gauge: Approximately 24 stitches and 32 rows with larger needles in stockinette stitch = 4 inches.
Size: Fits a wide range of adult head circumferences, ranging from 19-24 inches.
