This is Heavy” is such a fun cabled fingerless mittens pattern and it uses my scrumptious Local Worsted Line. The texture of the simple cables and ribbing really helps enhance the beauty of this natural non-superwash yarn and creates a wearable accessory that you’ll reach for again and again. These mittens are perfect for a speedy gift knit or for when you want to keep your hands warm doing yard work or walking the dog, but you still need your fingers. The mittens were knit with my favorite “This is Heavy” colorway and inherited the same name inspired by my personal favorite movie in the entire world-Back to the Future.
