LINIA is a top down sweater with saddle-shoulder construction.

You will start knitting in the round with a twisted rib neck, then continue shaping the neckline with short rows. After neckline shaping stitches will be increased for the body of the sweater along the shoulder lines and then for the sleeves. After that the body and sleeves are separated while casting on stitches for the underarms.

The measurements listed below are for the final sweater after washing (and blocking if you block your garments, in which case you also need to block your gauge swatch). As the sweater is knit top-down, you can decide on the length as you go. The length of the body and sleeves depends on your height and body proportions. The pattern and the yardage has been given for an average height of approx. 165 cm/ 5 ‘ 5’’ and sweater measuring just above the hip. Please adjust the lengths according to your individual body measurements.

Sizes:
8 sizes 1 (2, 3, 4, 5) (6, 7, 8) with sweater bust circumference measuring 96 (104, 114, 124, 134) (141, 151, 164) cm/ 38.5 (41.5, 45.5, 49.5, 53.5) (56.5, 60.5, 65.5) inches.

Ease of wear: minimum 10 cm / 4 inches of positive ease. To pick your size, measure around your bust and then add your desired ease to that number and pick the size closest to it (if you feel you are somewhere between the sizes I would recommend sizing up rather than down).

Yardage: 890 (950, 988, 1087, 1195) (1315, 1447, 1591) meters/ 974 (1039, 1081, 1189, 1308) (1439, 1583, 1741) yards

Yarn: Soft Donegal Merino Tweed from Studio Donegal 100gr - 190 m/ 207 yards or other Aran weight yarn. The sample is knit with Soft Donegal Merino Tweed, colour 5508

Gauge: 16 sts/ 22 rows per 10 cm/ 4 inches in stockinette in the round on size B needles (after washing)
