The Linum Socks are worked from the cuff down, featuring a broken rib cuff, a textured heel flap, a gusset, and a wedge toe. A floral motif inspired by linen flowers runs down the outside of each sock. This motif is created by working bobbles, eyelets, and a stem while knitting the leg. The eyelets then serve as a guide for the embroidered petals, which are added after the socks are finished.

Sizing
Sizes 1 (2, 3) (4, 5, 6) correspond to a sock of 56 (60, 64) (68, 72, 76) sts and are designed to fit a leg/foot circumference of approx. 18 (19, 20.5) (21.5, 22.5, 23.5) cm / 7 (7.5, 8) (8.5, 8.75, 9.5)“.

Finished measurements:
• Leg/foot circumference (A): 16 (17, 18.5) (19.5, 20.5, 21.5) cm / 6.25 (6.75, 7.25) (7.75, 8, 8.75)“.
• Cuff length (B): 3.5 cm / 1.5” – adjustable based on your preference.
• Leg length (C): 13 cm / 5” – adjustable based on your preference.
• Foot length (D): adjustable based on your foot length.

For a comfortable fit, choose a size with a leg/foot circumference that will give you a negative ease of approx. 1.5-2.5 cm / 0.5-1”.

Yarn
The sample is worked in Les Brebis du Beaurivage Frisonne des Champs (70% wool, 30% linen; 345 m / 377 yds – 100 g) in the Natural Grey colorway.

One 100 g skein of fingering weight sock yarn is sufficient for all sizes. The exact quantity of yarn needed will vary based on your desired leg and foot lengths.
