A lovely little gift this would be - especially to an elephant lover of which there are… loads!

He reminds me of Babar - but totally unintentionally! I started knitting him and a kind of ‘Friend of Babar’ suddenly appeared off my needles - just like that…

And when I say ‘just like that’ it almost feels that way because it’s a very quick knit - honestly!

As always I design my patterns with minimal seams although still knitted flat and joined as you go. For this pattern the arms and ears are joined after knitted.
Everything is clear to understand with very straight forward how-to-make images scattered throughout the pattern - and I’m always on hand if you need pattern assistance - but please email me for that!

As extras you’ll need toy safety eyes - these ones are 6mm ones bought from CelloExpress via Ebay although there are lots of sellers all over the Globe nowadays - try Etsy too!

And the yarn - I’m always favouring my favourite Drops Yarn but if you can’t get hold of Drops then try looking on yarnsub.com for similar - it’s an amazing site!

And that’s it -
Happy Knitting!
