Llama!
This cute Llama! makes a great holiday ornament, and a buddy for any Sheep! you may have on hand.
The body is made in one piece then the stitches are picked up for the legs. The neck is knitted in seed stitch and the top of it is shaped by German short rows. A flap is knitted in contrast color, then stitches picked up followed by decreases to shape the head. Finally ears are added by picking up stitches. No seaming required!
For each Llama! you will need worsted yarn, around 25yds of main color and 10yds of contrast color. It is knitted on size #6 (4.0mm) needles, your choice for small circumference in the round. You will also need a small amount of fiber fill or stuffing, and a tapestry needle for finishing.
