This is a simple, brimmed, beanie-style hat with a slight slouch. This pattern comes in one size, made for adults. The hat is made with 2 seperate colors of fingering weight yarn (about 225 yards and 10 yards), using 3 needle sizes.

The needles that I used are US 3 (used on the brim), US 4 (used for casting on extra stitches after the brim is done), and a US 2.5 (used on the main hat). The pattern starts on the brim with Judy’s Magic Cast-On (figure eight cast-on). I would recommended the use of craft foam, stencil plastic, or plastic canvas mesh for the brim insert. Using cardboard, or anything paper-based, would not be recommened for ease of washing.

The pop of color in the stripe is a great way to use of leftover bits of yarn!
