This pattern was made to be worn as a hood with a scarf, the hood drapes lightly over top, or it can be used as a shawl, by draping it over your shoulders. It starts with Judy’s magic cast on and then is worked from the center out so there’s no need to sew pieces together. I opted to used the secondary color in the cast on to give it a colorful stripe down the middle. The final length is up to you. The pattern, as written, makes the scarf approximately 28” long (on each side). If want it longer you would just add more repeats at the end.

The pattern uses circular US size 8 needles (40” long) and uses about 200 grams of each yarn, about 1 skein of each yarn per side of the hood.
