The ‘Long & Flow Cardigan’ was created & designed for Japanese yarn company Saredo’s new yarn - ‘Watakami’.
’Wata’ means cotton, and ‘Kami’ means paper in Japanese.
This unique combination of materials allows for an almost silky texture that drapes beautifully like linen.
Saredo also uses ‘Ochiwata’ (unused fallen cotton fibers) making this an eco-friendly and sustainable yarn.

This top-down cardigan has no seams and flows with your movement. It can be easily dressed up or down.
Since it is knitted loosely to create a lighter, airy, fabric, you will need a yarn with more structure.
For this, I highly recommend Saredo’s ‘Watekami’ for best results.

This yarn is available for purchase exclusively at ‘Knit House on Main’ in the US.
