A quick-knit top with easy crochet detail. Back and front knitted pieces have slight waist shaping. Then the crochet is added along the top of each piece to form the boat neck yoke and cap sleeve and echoes the “dropped” stitch of the main body of this pretty easy-to-wear tee.

The casual boat neckline extends along the shoulder to a flattering cap sleeve.

And you don’t have to be an expert in crochet for this design. A simple double crochet, slip stitch and chain stitch adds eye-catching detail to this lovely cool summer top.

You can have fun with different colour combinations of the yarn and knit a few of these useful tops for your summer wardrobe.

The yarn used and the open stitch makes it easy and cool to wear even on those warmer days.
