PATTERN NOTES
This cardigan is knit in one piece from the bottom up and split at the armholes to work the back and fronts separately. The sleeves are knit flat from the bottom up and seamed. After seaming, stitches for the collar are picked up and worked flat. The heart motif on the left front is worked using duplicate stitch and is charted only.
This pattern uses the stranded method for colorwork. There are several instances in which you must carry one color across long distances. Be sure to trap your floats every 4-5 stitches to prevent puckering in the fabric. Please note that the stranded colorwork motif is charted only. Change colors as indicated on charts.
