This cowl knits up quickly and is easily modified to your own preference on sizing. Use two variegated yarns for maximum texture or use one variegated and one solid for a less busy look.

Finished size: 11” tall. 26” diameter at the bottom and 20” at the top. You can adjust this to make any size cowl you want. I happen to like cowls that sit close to my neck. To make larger circumference, add additional stitches in quantities of 10.

Yarn:
Two 200-yard skeins of sport weight yarn in coordinating or contrasting colors. Sample is knit in Spincycle Dyed in the Wool colorways Pick Your Poison (MC -- blue) and Salty Dog (CC -- yellow). Finished sample had some extra of both yarns so sizing up should not require any more skeins.

Gauge:
5.4 stitches to the inch on #5 needles. 16-inch or 20-inch circular needle required. Gauge is only critical when determining your sizing. Adjust needle sizes to get the fabric look you prefer.
