This dice bag will influence your dice to land you some very lucky rolls! Well, not really, but your fellow gamers will be jealous that you pulled out your Luck Sack and want one of their very own!  

The bag comes in two versions, knit or felted.  I’ll walk you through two cord-pull styles and how to dye your own shades of green and felting your bag.

Skills needed
Intermediate: Knit, purl, increase, intarsia, bind off, seaming.
Note: The felted version is good for advanced beginners who wish to learn new skills as felting will hide imperfections. :)

Materials
Fingering-weight yarn in solid / semi-solid color; 100% wool; 225 yards (155 MC, 70 CC)
Satin cord, ½ - 1 ½ yards; depending on preferred closing type
Cord lock, optional
Clear nail polish, optional

Yarn needs to be 100% wool if felting or dyeing; if you are not doing these then the yarn can be of your preferred blend.

Tools:
Size 1 (knit) OR Size 3 (felted version) circular needles, 32” - 40” length or dpns
Stitch markers (4).
Safety-pin stitch markers
Measuring tape or ruler
Darning needle
Sharp pointed scissors (felted version)

Gauge
Knit version: Exact gauge is not important but the stitches should be fairly snug so that the stretched fabric will not allow dice to poke through.
Felted version: Gauge is not important but the stitch should be loose; the felting process works better if it has a little room.
