Cables? Lace? Toe-up? You’re in luck… these socks have them all! My favorite kinds of patterns for both cables and lace are the ones that I can “read” as I knit. While this design has patterning that spans more than 50 rows, each round flows easily into the next with stacked lace and increases/decreases that give the illusion of cables throughout. Once I get the hang of the pattern, I only have to glance at the charts or written instructions to be sure I’m on track. The result is a masterpiece of technique that was much easier to knit than it appears.

Once the pattern begins to emerge, it’s hard to put these beauties down. You might find yourself on your very own Lucky Streak!
