Luxury Mug Cosy

Begin the working day with a bit of luxury with a cabled cup cosy knit in Sirdar’s Cashmere Merino Silk double-knitting wool. Knit flat, a provisional cast on and three needle bind off creates a neat join - a photo-illustrated guide to both techniques is included at the end of the pattern. Both a chart and written instructions are included for the cable sections, with the pattern including two variations: a wishbone cable and a plaited cable.

The cosies knit up in a few hours and may be a good gift or item to sell at a car boot or jumble sale.
