• DESCRIPTION: A beautiful lace stitch creates the body of this bag while sturdier stitches form the top. A fun method of creating crocheted rope makes these handles look more finished, although you can just as easily make chain and single crochet stitch handles.
This pattern calls for cotton yarn, but any fiber will work. Just keep in mind the stretch and elasticity characteristics of each fiber. If I were to make another of these, I would likely use a cotton blend.
