This is an easy to knit cat designed by Sardines For Tea and highly regarded, much published designer, Sue Jobson.

This pattern includes: instructions to make Maud and her coat, a list of abbreviations, a materials list and recommended yarns. The pattern is written in English.

Techniques: You will need to be able to cast on and off, knit, purl, knit stitches together, increase, pass slip stitch over, slip 1, make one stitch, knit through back of loop and sew seams.

You will need:

1 pair 3.25mm (US 3), 1 pair 3.75mm (US 5) and 1 pair 4.5mm (US 7) knitting needles.
1 ball of Sirdar Harrap Tweed chunky shade 100 DK yarn.
2 balls Ricorumi DK cotton shade 020 (Jacket)
Small amount of cream cotton DK for face and pads.
Small amount of black cotton DK for facial features.
3 Buttons.
1 ball Ricorumi shade 024 (pumpkin)
Small amount green cotton DK for pumpkin top.
Toy filling.
1 tapestry needle.
