This pattern shows you how to crochet your own maus family with the tiniest little babies! It’s almost completely no-sew – you only have to sew up a couple of small openings, but no sewing pieces on! There’s also some embroidery of finishing details.

For the parent mice, a lot of pieces are attached in the round to allow the whole thing to be no-sew, but there’s plenty of photos to help illustrate the process.

Light grey yarn (very light grey)
Grey yarn (still fairly light)
A hook of appropriate size for your yarn (or one size down, recommended)
Black yarn and/or embroidery floss
Four small safety eyes (about 6mm if DK yarn)
Stuffing
Weighted pellets (optional)
Yarn needle
Stitch markers
Scissors

Any weight of yarn should work for this pattern. For DK yarn, all four mice will use about 25g of white, 2.5g of light grey, and a scrap amount of grey and black. The DK-sized mice come out at around 8cm (3in) tall for the adults, and 4cm (1.5in) tall for the babies. They’re so tiny!
