Maybellina is 15% off until July 13th.

Even though I’m land-locked in a northern prairie climate, closer to cold mountain lakes than coastlines, the inspiration for this one was beach cover-up. Wishful thinking, perhaps?

Embrace the lace and wear Maybellina over a tank top to beat the summer heat, or layer over something more substantial for a piece that can span the seasons.

Maybellina is knit from the top-down with raglan shaping. The pattern combines twisted stitches with the lines created by offset eyelets. The shape is boxy, with no neck shaping or difference between the front and back. A split hem helps it breeze over the hips. The lacework provides lightness and the twisted stitches provide structure and crispness so that a cotton-linen blend yarn can be used without being heavy.

The lace pattern is CHARTED ONLY.
