A detailed maze motif worked in stranded colorwork — intricate looking but satisfying to knit as the pattern builds row by row.

The Maze Chalk Bag is knit in the round from the bottom up. The top edge folds over to hold an adjustable cinch cord, and the finished bag is lined in fleece to keep chalk dust contained. It works just as well as a dog treat pouch or small cinch bag — clip it to your harness or your leash.
The sample uses two different yarns held together for the main color — one solid and one with a subtle sheen — but any two aran weight yarns will work.
