Metro Tee is part of a small design collaboration between Nidhi Kansal (knidhiknits) and me. We each imagined a garment that would be a useful layer for transitional weather, whether moving from one season to another or simply going between air-conditioned rooms and hot days outside. Metro Tee is a fingering-weight, all-over textured design featuring set-in sleeves, a round neckline, and a small buttoned placket. It is constructed from the top down seamlessly using the European shoulder method.

PATTERN NOTES
♡ Metro Tee is designed with a semi-cropped, waist-length fit. The body length can be easily extended to your preferred length. (See YARN REQUIREMENTS below)
♡ This tee features double-knit details at the neckline and button plackets. If desired, these sections may be substituted with 1 × 1 ribbing.
♡ The placket length is approximately 3” / 8 cm and 2 buttons and buttonholes are placed on the placket. Optionally, you can omit the buttons and buttonholes creating a slightly more open, subtle sweetheart shaped neckline.
♡ See PROJECT DETAILS below for more info. Don’t miss the Schematic and finished measurements in the last photo.
