Minea is delicate lacy semicircular shawl with a peaked lace edging at the neck edge. The shawl starts with a provisional cast on and is worked from side to side using short rows for shaping. After working the main body of the shawl, sts are picked up from the the provisional cast on edge. The picked up sts and the sts from the main body of the shawl are then knit to create the peaked edging.

Finished size: wingspan measures 46 inches and depth measures 22 inches from the center neck to the bottom edge

Yarn: 2 skeins Lotus Yarns Tibetan Cloud Fingering, 100% Tibetan Yak, 50g 492 yds/450 m

Although this yarn is listed as a fingering weight, it is really more like a lace weight yarn. If you choose to use a yarn and gauge other than what is listed in the pattern, the amount of yarn needle to complete the pattern will be different. Please take care to purchase extra yarn so that you do not run out.
