This is a pattern for a small windspinner ball.
I made it in white to resemble a snowball, but you can use more than one color, if you like.

The pattern is a written pattern, it includes several pictures to show how it’s made.

The level is intermediate, the first rows/rounds are a bit tricky, the rest of the windspinner is easy if you know how the make the stitches mentioned below.

For this windspinner I used cotton yarn (Scheepjes Catona or similar), which is 125 m/137 yards per 50 gram.
I used hooksize 2.5.
I needed 15 meter/16.4 yards of cotton yarn.

I also made one using acrylic yarn, Stylecraft Special dk or similar,
and hooksize 3.0.
I needed 13 meter/14 yards of acrylic yarn.

Both my finished windspinners were just a bit smaller than 6 cm/2.35 inches tall and 5 cm/2 inches wide.

Stitches and (US-) terms used in this pattern:

• ch = chainstitch
• slst = slipstitch
• sc = single crochet
• hdc = half double crochet
• dc = double crochet
• trc = treble crochet
• incr = increase
• dc 3 together (or a foundation chain)
