Mixed Media Shawl
The concept of merging different crafts, particularly in the realm of art or creative endeavours, is commonly known as mixed media. This term refers to the incorporation of various materials or techniques within a single artwork or project.
The idea for the Mixed Media Shawl struck me one day while I was crocheting a different project. I found myself pondering the possibilities of combining two crafts. I was so enamoured with the resulting effect that I decided to create this triangular shawl.
For those who have followed my work for some time, you’ll know that I have a deep appreciation for triangle shawls. Their versatility is unmatched; they can be worn in numerous ways, such as cowboy style with the V at the front, draped around the shoulders, or secured with a shawl pin or cuff, to name just a few options.
The colour change is noted within this pattern, however I do always say that colour choice is up to you, play around with colours and see what combination you can come up with.
There are some fun details within this shawl, especially when you transition from crochet to knitting.
