This is a single skein shawlette knitted from the bottom tip up and incorporating some simple lacework. The design is symmetrical and was inspired by rays of light at sunset. The pattern has been tech edited and test knitted and tech edited for accessibility.

It is available as a kit from https://colour-works.co.uk/ in two colourways, Summer Fields (blue, green, yellow) and Morecambe Bay Sunset (pink, orange, yellow).

It is also available here as a stand alone pattern.

Do check your yardage if you substitute yarn as a 100g skein from Colourworks is 450m whereas many 100g skeins of 4 ply / fingering weight yarn are 400m or less. This would result in a smaller shawl.

You will also need:
Tapestry needle
Stitch markers - used to mark the centre of the pattern and optional for marking the lacework repeats.
Scales to weigh remaining yarn - this will help make sure you have enough left for the top edge of the shawl.
