I have spent many wonderful holidays in the village of Staithes in North Yorkshire and this design is inspired by the textures of the landscape here. With a mixture of knit, purl and slip stitches, the sea, sand, stone cottages with their tiled roofs and the spectacular sky are all represented in the design. I wanted this to be a quick, cosy and fun knit to match the Staithes Strata Cowl I designed. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.
