When exploring Ireland by bicycle many years ago, what impressed me most were the country lanes with moss growing down the centre. To this day, this remains an iconic image in my mind’s eye, symbolising everything I love about my adoptive home. 



Did you know that Ireland is home to over 800 species of mosses? Ancient and enduring,
 comforting and soft, wild and mysterious, yet also deeply familiar, they dwell alongside us, enhancing the landscape with subtle scents and nuanced textures. 



An ode to the omnipresence of this remarkable flora, the Mosses Beanie is worked 
 seamlessly in double moss stitch. It os reversible and endlessly adaptable - whether you opt 
to turn up the brim, or wear it slouchy. A texturally compelling pattern that is simple and rustic
… yet somehow rather special. Like the mossy lanes bathed in dappled sunlight.
