Mountain Creek Cowl
I wanted to create a version of my own of the bulky cowls that I had been seeing all over with the Anthropologie vibe. Cables were a must, but none of the cables that I tried came close to the feeling that I was going for until I tried this one. The finished result is a warm, chunky cowl that will be a classic winter accessory, perfect for selfish knitting and gifts alike. Enjoy!
Level: Intermediate
Techniques used: knit, purl, cable front, cable back, cast on (method of your choice) and kitchener stitch (link to how-to is included).
Uses roughly 220 skeins of bulky yarn (2 of the Loops and Threads Charisma) and size 13 needles. If you are a very tight knitter, you may need more yarn than this, or want to consider using a slightly lighter yarn. I used Loops & Threads Charisma.
Once purchased, the digital download will be sent to your email.
With your purchase, you are free to make as many cowls as you like for yourself and for friends, but not for re-sale. Please do not alter the pattern and sell it as your own.
