This headband is the perfect way to show your team spirit while also staying warm! Named for Payton Manning’s famous “Omaha!”, while playing for the Denver Broncos, this headband is perfect for gifts for your family members, girlfriends, or your new boyfriend’s sister…basically it’s about as versatile as it gets. It’s also a great pattern for those who are just learning cables, or want to learn! The finished result is a warm, chunky headband that will be a classic winter accessory, perfect for selfish knitting and gifts alike. Enjoy!

To make this pattern fit both teens and adults, knit for about 20” or until the headband fits around your head and end on round 10.

Level: Intermediate
Techniques used: knit, purl, cable to the front, cable to the back, slip with yarn in front, slip with yarn in back, kitchener stitch

Uses roughly 100 yards of bulky yarn (weight 5) and size 10 needles.

Once purchased, the digital download will be sent to your email.
