Skills required:

• Stranded knitting
• Knitting in the round
• Long tail cast on, or cast on method of choice
• knit, purl, k2tog, increase of choice

Yarn: One skein each in 5 different colors of Premiere Yarns Basix DK. Suggested colorways: celery, fern, navy, frost and heritage blue

Needles: US size 3/3.25 mm 16” circular needles, US size 4/3.5mm 16” circular needles, US size 4 double pointed needles or size needed to maintain gauge. Stitch Marker.

Gauge: 23 stitches x 32 rows = 4 inches in stockinette stitch using US size 4 / 3.5mm needles

Sizes:

• Mt Mitchell (6 - 18 month baby head circumference 17-18.5”) Mt Fuji (child - adult head circumference 21- 22”)
• Matterhorn (adult head circumference 23-25”)
• Everest (very large adult head circumference 24-26”)
