In this pattern, you’ll learn how to create a simple crochet beanie with an optional poof. The best part about this pattern is that you can easily customize the size.

For this pattern, you are going to make a rectangle and then seam the sides together to form a tube. You will then cinch one end together to create the top of the hat.
