In my first pattern my hat nr 1 I promised other versions : and so here is number 2 hat of the series.

When choosing yarns I am generally more dedicated to soft and faded colors in grey, blue and beige tones but concerning accessories I like bold colors. After all hats are for winter when we all need a bit of luminous details. The pattern stands out delicately but is not complicated and suits any color combination.

This beret is not quite as slouchy as the number 1 hat but you can just add 20 stitches (one motive) to create the same dimensions as number 1. If you want a beanie style bonnet, remove on or two 20 stitches motive to fit your head size.

I used about half of the Koigu KPPPM for the background (blue) and a little less for the motive (pink). However, I had bought two skeins of blue and so had enough for a pair of mittens - still with about half a skein left in my knitting basket.

Enjoy your knit !
