The Netta Scarf is a delicate, lightweight accessory with a beautiful lace leaf pattern. It’s a perfect companion to other designs featuring the same motif, such as October Day Sweater and Tender Leaves Cardie.

The scarf was originally designed as a narrow piece with a single leaf motif repeat, but you can easily customize the width by adding one or two extra repeats.

PATTERN INFO

Level:
Knitting this scarf is easy, even for beginners. The pattern includes both charts and written instructions for the lace pattern, accompanied by videos for stitches used in it.

Measurements:
The beige one, with two wraps around the neck:
Width: approx. 10 cm / 4”
Length: approx. 188 cm / 74”

The off-white one, with one wrap around the neck:
Width: approx. 10 cm / 4”
Length: approx. 142 cm / 56”

Yarn:
The beige scarf was knit with one strand of Lamana Roma, color 47.

The off-white scarf was knit with two strands of Lana Grossa Silk Hair, color 117.

You can use any yarn with a gauge of 16 to 23 sts per 10 cm / 4” in a stockinette stitch, as the pattern suggests different charts for different gauges.

For the scarf with two wraps around the neck, you’ll need approx. 160 m / 175 yds. For the scarf with one wrap around the neck, you’ll need approx. 105 m / 115 yds. If knitting with two strands held together, double this amount.

Gauge and needles:
This information is only for reference. The pattern includes different charts, so you can knit the scarf to the same measurements with different gauges and needle size.

The beige scarf was knit on 4.5 mm (US 7) needles following the chart for a gauge of 20-21 sts.

The off-white scarf was knit on 5 mm (US 8) needles following the chart for a gauge of 16-17 sts.
