This is a waffle stitch crochet blanket with instructions for different sizes in both UK and US terminology and charted. Waffle stich creates a wonderfully squish texture and is made with a combination of UK trebles (US double crochet) and front post trebles (US front post double crochet) that works up quickly in this beautiful chunky yarn with a 7 mm hook. It is an easy to learn pattern with a two-row repeat and is an ideal introduction to different stitch placements in crochet.

Ngumban is the Bundjalung language word for blanket.
