Ni Ju San is the twenty-third day of the 2017 Advent calendar: twenty-four patterns, one a day, to learn to count in Chinese.

It is written 二十三: two, then the cross of ten, then the three strokes of three. Two times ten, and three.

This hat begins with a garter stitch brim, dipped into two chevrons, then rises in stockinette, ridged with a garter stitch furrow every four rounds. At the crown, eight lines of decreases close the furrows into octagons. It is knitted in the round, from the bottom up, in one skein of (Vi)Laines “Tordue DK”, in five sizes, from child to adult.

Ni Ju San est le vingt-troisième jour du calendrier de l’Avent 2017 : vingt-quatre modèles, un par jour, pour apprendre à compter en chinois.

Il s’écrit 二十三 : le deux, puis la croix du dix, puis les trois traits du trois. Deux fois dix, et trois.

Ce bonnet commence par une bordure au point mousse, creusée de deux chevrons, puis monte en jersey, strié d’un sillon mousse tous les quatre rangs. À la couronne, huit lignes de diminutions referment les sillons en octogones. Il se tricote en rond, du bas vers le haut, dans un écheveau de (Vi)Laines « Tordue DK », en cinq tailles, de l’enfant à l’adulte.
