No Sew Crochet Alligator Pattern:
This pattern is intermediate crochet skill level.
IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT TECHNIQUE:
I crochet using YO/YO method.
I found that when I worked this pattern with the YU/YO or YU/YU method it changed the tension of my stitches, making the alligator twist too much and causing the features to distort.
Please be aware that if this is the manor you crochet, you will likely have to make adjustments so that it lines up properly. I do make note of where my testers made adjustments because of this, in the actual pattern.
I also link a couple YouTube videos to help understand YO/YU techniques, for informational purposes only, they are not my videos.

ABOUT THIS PATTERN:
This pattern is written in US crochet terms. I have included instructions for the special stitches. Tutorials for basic stitches can easily be found on YouTube. Basic crochet stitch knowledge is needed to make this alligator. This is a pattern only it does not teach you how to crochet or give instructions on basic stitches.
The Alligator is worked in rounds and is completely no sew. The head, body, legs and tail are all stitched in the round without joining. There are no separate pieces! The alligator works up quite fast. Most experienced crocheters should be able to complete it in about an hour.
I made this pattern using Bernat Blanket Yarn and a US size 8mm hook. If you prefer a different yarn please be sure to use an appropriate sized hook for that yarn. Keep in mind yarn weight and hook size will change the size of the finished product. Also change safety eye size accordingly, I prefer 16mm kawaii eyes for this gator. It is also important to note that crochet tensions vary, loose or tight tension will cause the finished size to vary. I prefer to use safety eyes, but felted or embroidered details can be adapted if you choose.
