Nordic Strength Hat
This hat is knit from the bottom up, starting with a provisional cast on. The red lining is knit first and then folded up into the hat, with a little bit peeking out.
The colorwork charts are fairly easy with no long floats. The red in the middle of the snowflake can be knit in or duplicate stitched later. The colorwork is based on a pattern found in Nordic Knitting Traditions.
We used sport weight yarn and knit it tight to get a warm hat.
