North Ridge Mosaic Shawl is a triangular shawl knitted as different sections with direction of the knitting being changed in every section. Mosaic sections are knitted in MC and CC. Total 21 sections, alternating mosaic knitting and garter stitches.

SKILL LEVEL: advanced beginner.

MATERIALS:

Knit Picks Palette, 100% Peruvian Highland Wool, 231 yards (211 m) in 50 g: Ash (#6887) 150 g, White (#9437) 66 g.

Alternative yarn: Kauni, 100% wool, 437 yards (400 m) in 100 g, 155 g
King Cole Merino Blend 4 ply, 100% wool, 197 yards (180 m) in 50 g, 65 g (white)

TOOLS:

2 Size US 3 (3.25 mm) needles, 100 cm length (may consider using shorter needles at the beginning), or size needed to obtain gauge. I recommend to knit each side of the shawl on separate circular needles
Size US 6 (4 mm) double pointed needle for binding off

18 sts=4 inch/10 cm

SKILLS REQUIRED:
