While my daughter was pursuing her master’s degree in Norway, I had the chance to visit this beautiful country a few times. When she almost finished her time in Oslo, we decided to go on the trip we had both been dreaming about.

During this trip, I saw the most beautiful (hand)knitted sweaters, hats, mittens, and socks. Inspired by the souvenir yarn I bought during this voyage, I created this pattern.

The Northern Green sweater is knitted seamlessly top down, starting with a textured collar, to continue with a yoke in a Norwegian motif. The hem and sleeves are finished with textured borders.
