The Ocean Dreams Lovie is a recipe-based pattern comprised of multiple pieces knit as individual elements. Components are knit in the round, flat and as I-cords and then assembled to finish. All instructions are based on the project sample pictured in this pattern; however each element can be customized in color, size and quantity which gives you a lot of flexibility in making this project truly unique. For example, using a super bulky yarn with appropriately sized needles will give you a much larger blanket and the individual elements may be left free for imaginative play (always use your best judgment when allowing small children and babies to play with small objects).
