Orchid contains a cable that reminds me of the dainty orchid leaf. These leaves slowly emerge again and again from the center of the plant. The gartered section of the scarf is created by slowly increasing just to the side of the cable.

The great thing about this scarf is any yarn can be used to knit this scarf. Knit in a bulky or worsted weight yarn for a quick project or knit in a dk or lace weight for a daintier version.

Measurements - Approximately 30 inches long and 15 inches wide at the widest point

Size 11 (8.00 mm) straight needles
1 ball of Patons Shetland Chunky 75% Avrylic, 25% Wool 148 yds
Darning needle
Cable Hook or Cable Needle
Crafting with Buttons 2.5 inch button
