This shawl has been created to pay homage to my ancient ancestors (and currant) Clan MacGregor, Clan MacLana (Findlayson) and Clan Henderson.

It is a simple knitted shawl, that can easily be made in different sizes from the stated measurements if required. It drapes on your neck with a rolled collar and gently rests on your shoulders and closes at your chest. It is not one of the “fidgety” types of shawls that you constantly have to adjust. Fasten in front by using a shawl pin.

Keep yourself nice and cozy warm with the shawl/wrap. It also fits under your jacket for those cold and windy brisk days whilst you are out and about. I wear mine whilst at work, crafting, and in my favourite chair whilst reading.

Yarn: Bulky/Chunky #5 weight

James C Brett “Marble Chunky” 200g and Loops and Threads “Barcelona” 200g

For the shawl in the photos, I used James Brett Chunky Marble and Barcelona.

The shawl is knit with two strands of yarn knit together. Use two different colours of yarn to give the shawl more dimension. There is enough yarn left over to make another project.
